The Department of Education recently licensed the Career Cruising career guidance system for all Newfoundland schools with students in Grade 7 – 12. Career Cruising is an Internet-based career exploration program that makes it fun and easy for students to explore their options in the world of work and to begin planning their future. The program combines four main components; career interest assessment, a database of occupation profiles, post-secondary planning information, and a Career Portfolio Tool.
